JOB SPECIFICATION

JOB TITLE: Intern

REPORTING TO: Manager

UNIT/GROUP: Advisory

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

To assist Managers and Senior Managers with the implementation of Advisory projects and with office administration.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

  • Assist with project administration and management tasks
  • Assist with data capture and consolidation
  • Prepares client reports and presentations
  • Assists with team administrative tasks
  • Takes notes and minutes during client meetings
  • Contributes to identifying leads/new opportunities at clients and writing proposals

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:

Mandatory

  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio and Access
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery-specifically ISO 22301, ISO 27031 and BCI Good Practice Guidelines 2013

MINIMUM EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY INCUMBENT:

  • Tertiary qualification at NQF Level 7 or equivalent

OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE BY INCUMBENT:

  • Any training / qualification / certification related to Business Continuity, Information Security, Risk Management and/or Health and Safety
