Business Continuity Training Botswana

ContinuitySA Botswana will offer a five-day training course for individuals tasked with business continuity responsibilities. The course will take place in Gaborone, Botswana on 28 October – 1 November 2019. The Complete Continuity® Practitioner Programme was developed by ContinuitySA to provide a comprehensive set of the theoretical and practical skills needed to design and implement business continuity programmes that deliver true organisational resilience.

“As one of Africa’s high-growth economies, Botswana is equipping itself to compete globally. The global business environment is extremely volatile and uncertain, and as a result there is increasing pressure on members of any value chain to have effective business continuity and resilience plans in place—the chain is, after all, only as strong as its weakest link. In that sense, a credible business continuity capability is a ‘ticket to the game’ for anyone wanting to do business globally,” says Diphetogo Lefhoko, Country Manager, ContinuitySA Botswana. “This training has been designed by leading experts at ContinuitySA and is recognised as a valued course.”

ContinuitySA is Africa’s leading business continuity and resilience service provider, with more than 30 years of leadership in this space. It is a Gold Partner of the Business Continuity Institute and was inducted into the Institute’s Hall of Fame as Business Continuity Provider of the Year.

The cost of the five-day course is BWP 15 385. It offers attendees a good mix of theory and practice to ensure they can use what they have learned in their business continuity roles.

“We feel so strongly about the need to build Botswana’s capacity in business continuity and resilience that we are offering 35% discount for bookings of six or more delegates. This is a vital talent pool that companies, government entities and the country at large needs to deepen if we are to achieve our economic aspirations,’’ Mr Lefhoko concludes.
